MATERIAL INNOVATION

The Rice Husk Edition introduces a bold new material chapter. Traditional rattan is replaced by a composite woven from rice husk fibers — an agricultural byproduct transformed into a durable, textured surface. The result is a seat that carries the warmth of natural craft with the resilience of modern material science.

Clear Glass + Handcraft

The G Collection has always been about the conversation between industrial precision and the human hand. Legs are shaped from hand-blown borosilicate glass, each one slightly different, while the seats are woven from natural fibers using techniques passed down through generations of Thai craftspeople.

The Story

It began with a single question from designer Paphop Wongpanich: What if a bench could appear to defy gravity? The G Collection was born from that curiosity — a desire to challenge the visual weight of furniture while celebrating the warmth of handcraft. Now, the Rice Husk Edition continues the story — replacing synthetic materials with rice husk composite, a material drawn from Thai agricultural heritage.

“We don’t just design furniture. We design the feeling of sitting — and in doing so, we give new life to what would otherwise be discarded.”

— Paphop Wongpanich, Designer
